0728 — Rename proposal review stays off the live website
Edit this pageContext
The user approved the SQLStreams rename proposal, then removed its site page because the planning content has no value to the site’s users. This supersedes [0727]‘s consequence that the proposal remains on the website labeled Proposed; its technical identity decision still stands.
Decision
Do not publish or recreate the SQLStreams rename proposal page. Remove its navigation entry. Keep the accepted identity and implementation plan in decision records and TODO, and review the logo sheet locally.
The website work documents the renamed product and changes its branding, examples and reference surfaces. It does not publish the rename work plan.
Consequences
The user’s proposal approval still authorizes implementation. Removing the page does not reopen the approved identity or cutover decisions.
